Good news everyone!

The website is now complete after over 5 months of development, after over a year after I started this a project on the side of University. It has been a huge journey filled with challenges and obstacles but Hire an Artist is now a fully functional website and company. A true online art commission platform for people and artists to meet and create art.

Now that the website is complete we will be making some small website preparations and temporarily making it inaccessible until official launch day. So if you're an artist and would like to have a head start on the site (I.E making offers to clients while other artists work on building their profiles) I seriously recommend you do it as soon as possible; We expect to shut down access within 2 weeks at the latest.

Another heads up for artists which you will especially want to know. You may be aware of the 'Verified portfolio' feature, a feature which showcases the artwork that the artist has completed through the site. It is a tool provided for clients to give them peace of mind that this artwork has genuinely been completed by the artist, that the artist isn't passing off another's artwork as their own.

Well if you would like your artwork to be moved in the 'Verified' portfolio section as shown in the example profile below and not in 'Portfolio pictures', contact info@hireanartist.co with images of your artwork attached along with your username, the title of the artwork, the price you was paid by a client on commission (Not it's print value if relevant!) and a description. This needs to be provided for each image.

If you are not sure how to do this do not worry, we can provide a form for you to fill out for each artwork instead. Again simply contact info@hireanartist.co and ask for a 'Verified portfolio form'.

I strongly recommend every artist creates an account now and does this. Having verified artwork means that clients can trust your artwork to genuinely be yours, making you more likely to be accepted by a client, but also because your artwork will be showcased on the home page for all to see!

If you have any troubles at any time, simply get in touch and we will help! info@hireanartist.co

So quickly summarising on this, the website will be closing soon for official launch day, if you're an artist build your profile and get in touch for verified artworks now!
