Had some good moments today and a problem has remained. I think as an optimist, I'll start with what good happened today. Firstly, we've had growth in our support for the project, more likes and more follows. To a lot of people it seems insignificant but every time I see a new notification, it's a small victory and one step closer to the ultimate goal of getting this project off the ground!
So we've got progress in our social networking but we've also had our first artist who sent in some artwork to our FB page! I couldn't believe it when I first looked at the note, since usually when I receive Twitter notifications it says 'X & 1 more retweeted...' and when I look at it, it's about two other unrelated accounts. But when I looked at the painting and was sure it was sent in to us I was really a bit surprised, mainly because it never happened before. But the painting was absolutely beautiful, which I immediately liked and shared it out on the page for other people to see.
On top of having the first piece of artwork sent in, I had a really good time speaking with artists by e-mail, it really does make the hard work far more rewarding to get to be able to talk with artists and learn more about them.
So enough about the good things and onto the problem that's getting worse. Both involve the same thing really though, which is communications. As I mentioned yesterday I hadn't received a lot of emails lately, well today I haven't spoken with any new artists (But one) which I approached with the new email. I'm hoping this dry spell will pass when I work harder on reaching out to even more artists on a daily basis.
I wake up every day to create something that can support artists and turn people’s ideas into art, so that the true value of a piece of bespoke art is realised – And that value is what it means to the person who gets it. When we can make our loved ones cry with happiness, it’s one of the greatest feelings in the world.
I’ve got a big passion for creativity and ideas and Hire an Artist is the perfect company to encompass this; the ideas of clients, transformed into works of art by artists. In a divided market of artists struggling for work and clients not being welcomed and supported, I aim to bring these two groups together – Let them create the incredible things they’re capable of.
I believe that success isn’t given, it’s earned. I earn my success is by working to achieve my dreams, and to help others achieve their own dreams and successes. Life is short, so why not enjoy it?
It’s with that mentality that my company became recognised as one of the UK’s greatest start-ups 2 years in a row. It’s why I’m such a competitive force, why I win competitions such as Business Masterclass 2016, its why people write about me and why people such as Raj Dhonota support me.
